Anthropology (B.A.)

UNIVERSITY GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS       40 hours

  • General Education Requirements:      36 hours
    Refer to the University Catalog for details on the General Education requirements.
  • ASO 100:  Student Success Seminar      1 hour
  • Wellness       3 hours
  • Writing Intensive Course (Hours incorporated into Major/Supporting/Gen. Ed./Free Elective Category)
  • ACCT - Anthropology majors will select one of the following: ANT 439, ANT 470, ANT 377S, SOC 330S, HON 420, or a program-approved student abroad experience. (Credit hours will be incorporated into Major or Supporting requirements below.)
  • Upper division courses (42 hrs. distributed throughout Major/Supporting/Gen Ed/Free Electives categories)

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS:      33 hours

Free Electives: 47 hours

TOTAL CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS: 120 hours


Minors

Minor in Anthropology

A student may minor in Anthropology by taking a minimum of EIGHTEEN (18) HOURS as follows:
