UNIVERSITY GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS       40 hours

• General Education Requirements:      36 hours
  Refer to Section Five of the University Catalog for details on the General Education requirements.
• ASO 100:  Student Success Seminar      1 hour
• Wellness       3 hours
• Writing Intensive Course (Hours incorporated into Major/Supporting/Gen. Ed./Free Elective Category)
• ACCT - Anthropology majors will select one of the following: ANT 439, ANT 470, ANT 377S, SOC 330S, HON 420, or a program-approved student abroad experience. (Credit hours will be incorporated into Major or Supporting requirements below.)

• Upper division courses (42 hrs. distributed throughout Major/Supporting/Gen Ed/Free Electives categories)

Minors

Minor in Anthropology

A student may minor in Anthropology by taking a minimum of 18 hours as follows:

• ANT 120: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (3)
• ANT 200: Anthropology of Human Society (3)
• ANT 201: Introduction to Physical Anthropology (3)

PLUS one upper division course in each of the following areas:

• Archaeology
• Cultural Anthropology
• Physical Anthropology

Neither ANT351W or ANT 395 will count toward the minor.

Minor in Archaeology

A student may minor in Archaeology by taking a minimum of 18 hours as follows:

• ANT 200: Anthropology of Human Society (3)
• ANT 351W: Archaeology: Writing Intensive (3)
• AND twelve hours of upper division archaeology electives selected from:
